Part IV: The Purple Connection: The Ancient 666 Bloodlines and 1776

Throughout the The Purple Connection series, we've seen incredible examples of the hypnotic power of purple, the king of colors. The rarity, cost and imperial monopoly over Tyrian purple dye in Roman and Byzantine times made it the ultimate symbol of power, opulence and empire.

The mosaic on the left is from the chapel of the Archdiocese of Ravenna, and dates from 495 AD. The time and place are not far from the lagoon of what would soon become the site of Venice. It depicts Christ as a warrior and emperor holding a red cross over His left shoulder. As pointed out in several previous articles, Venice is an important part of this study.

The biblical inscription on the book He holds in His right hand reads, Ego sum via veritas et vita. These words of Christ are from John 14:6. The translation is "I am the way, the truth and the light." The lion and serpent trammeled under Christ's feet appear to represent His victory over earthly power and the forces of Darkness. There may also be some deeper astrological significance attached to the constellations of Leo, Draco or the 13th sign of the Zodiac Ophiuchus that at will come to light in this study. The ancient solar cross symbol in the halo behind Christ's head conveys the symbolism of sun worship, which was part of the amalgamation of pagan imagery into the new Christian orthodoxy.

Another thing we can be even more certain about is the strategic use of color in this mosaic. With Jesus Christ wearing the Tyrian purple robe of the Caesars, this synthesizes the worldly power of the Emperor and the divine power of Christ in one image. It's not consistent with the humility and poverty of Jesus' example, but it's masterstroke of Dark Age marketing.

The Tetrarchs 
It was the emperor Diocletian who instituted the so-called reforms that supposedly saved the Empire from total collapse for about another 150 years. In those reforms the display of Tyrian purple, the use of purple ink and the purple granite known as porphyry were all forbidden to everyone but the emperor. To drive this point home he had a statue of himself and his co-emperors made out of the finest porphyry available.

The Tetrarchs became spoils of war in the Fourth Crusade. Venice and the French conquered and sacked the capital of Byzantium, Constantinople, in 1204. The statue was transported to Venice where it been ever since.  Even though the figures are a far cry from the muscled demigods of the Classical era, the deep purple luster of the porphyry stone makes it a very dramatic presentation. However, the restrictions on purple for propaganda purposes is only the beginning of the story.

The word purple ultimately derives from the word purpura, which is the name of a family of sea snail mollusks. This is the source of Tyrian purple dye. As we saw in the last article, purpura is also the source of the words Phoenician, and phoenix. We know the Canaanites as Phoenicians because of the Greeks who named them for the trade in the purple dye that brought them their financial power. To that list, we should add the word φόνος, pronounced phonos. This is an ancient Greek word for slaughter and murder, as well as blood. The meaning probably stems from purple's association with blood.

 It's somewhat ironic, but the words phonics, and  phono are also related and part of the same etymological family as purple and Phoenician. It was the Phoenicians who invented the alphabet which is based on letters that represent the sounds of word parts.

We also have to bear in mind that the Phoenicians were infamous for their practice of human sacrifice. All first born children were expected to be given up by their parents to be sacrificed to the gods as a matter of state policy. This link also shows that this Canaanite cruelty was common among the early Israelites, who were essentially Canaanites themselves, until they created their own culture and sacred literature as the Hebrews.

When we consider that this state-mandated child sacrifice was in the form of  immolation or burnt offerings, we begin to see a connection with the word origins of fire, or pyr as it's called in ancient Greek. The is the root for words like pyromania, pyramid and pyrite. In the myth of the phoenix, the magical bird is consumed by the flames of its own funeral pyre and rises born again from of its own ashes.

of Kermes crimson dye. It was not as
extravagant as Tyrian purple. but
still very fine. It's what what
Cicero called "our purple." 

The true origin of the myth is also related to purple in this way. The phoenix myth is an allegory of how the kermes insects, which were used for the crimson to plum tinted tones of antiquity. The myth of the phoenix is derived from the purplish color of the kermes that burns brightly as it dies. The ashes of the phoenix comes from the tiny cocoons that cover the insects as they go still and decay.

 When the young emerge in the spring, they pop out from the ashy cocoons in full crimson color. The cycle begins anew. In this context, the phoenix has connotations of  the cycle of life death and rebirth. When we decode the symbols in this way, we see the association of the phoenix and fire with ritual purification. I'm still looking for more linguistic confirmation of this line of reasoning, but I think there's enough here to make working with these associations plausible.  It seems that pyr, pur, por and phon are ancient phonemes that have deep and complex connections to each other.

These connections can be easily extended to encompass the symbolism of the Holy Grail and the 666 bloodlines that +Ti!WaZz is helping to uncover. The memes he comes up with put it all in a nutshell. The three blood drops, the grail, and the nails that go with them are parts of an apocryphal story of Christ, not found in the Bible.

 In the Grail legends of the Middle Ages, the Holy Grail is the cup that Jesus and his apostles drank from at the Last Supper. At the moment of Jesus' death on the cross, Joseph of Arimathea caught the drops of His blood in the grail. The holy blood imparted many miraculous powers to the cup. The legends say that after a time Joseph fled to Glastonbury England, or some say the Provencal region of southern France.

The many strands of grail legend and lore make a fascinating subject, and one I hope to cover in detail as we move through the emerging research. However for now, the main thing to focus on is the medieval meme of the bloodline of Adam that followed up to Noah, up through the Tree of Jesse to King David, and then onto Jesus and Mary Magdalene. After Jesus' mission came to an end, there were many Gnostic texts that filled in the blanks left by the canonical gospels, concerning Jesus' relationship with Mary Magdalene and the apostles.

Later on, these heretical stories persisted and gave rise to the legend of the Merovingian dynasty, the long-haired kings who are to said to have claimed decent from Jesus and Mary Magdalene's daughter, Sarah. These speculations were given a wider audience in the 1980's with the publication of Holy Blood, Holy Grail and later in the movie The Da Vinci Code based on the novels of Dan Brown.

Even though much of the "documentation" for the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail came from the fabricated Secret Dossiers that were being deposited in the Bibliothèque Nationale of France by admitted hoaxers, the legend of the Once and Future King simply will not die. Surely a good bit of this is due to the romance of nostalgia, but there are still many anomalies that indicate that there may yet be more to the story.

Instead of seeing the Grail as a Christian symbol for Jesus' bloodline, it might be more accurate to view it as a symbol of Luciferian bloodlines. For instance, the look of the three blood drops is strongly symbolic of the number 666.

Nicholas de Verve was a writer who claimed to be a member of one of these Luciferian bloodlines associated with the grail. I haven't read anything by him yet but I read the transcript of an interview of his.

In any case, his Dragon bloodline thesis is based on the idea that only blood members of the Dragon family are able to access true occult knowledge and power. It's not hard to see how the emphasis on the purity of blood has always been part of the occult agenda.
Also, it's important to remember that there is a segment of the population that's attracted to these visions of glory and grandeur.
Parzival sees the goose and falcon and the three blood drops.

However, there is powerful evidence for this 666-bloodline connection in the blood drop motif found in numerous scenes of the various Grail legends of the Middle Ages. For instance in Wolfram von Eschenbach's Parzival there is a scene where Parzival fails to ask the Fisher King the vital question, "What ails thee?" Because of this lack of care for Anfortas the Fisher King, Parzival somehow causes Saturn to send a snowstorm in June!

The astronomical symbolism in this unlikely setting is the transit of Saturn into Cancer, when it is at "the height of the heavens." The snow is emblematic of Saturn's cold, hard lack of mercy as Bringer of Sorrow. To make matters worse, since Saturn is ascendant, the Fisher King suffers even more from his old groin wound!

But something happens. As the snow falls and falls, Parzival watches a falcon attack a flock of geese. He sees one goose breaks loose from the falcon, but wounded. Three drops of blood fall. The sight of the bright crimson in the pure white snow sends him through waves of longing and mystical vision.

The image causes him to think of his lady Condwiramurs, and how he must redeem himself in her eyes. In my translation of her name I see a combination of the Latin and Germanic word stems, "condi" "wir," and "amor." In this context Condwiramurs has the following meanings, "lead us to love,"  "our secret of love," or "our love is preserved." All of those interpretations are congruent with the redemptive power of love that she symbolizes in the story.

The scene with the images of blood, romantic love and sacrifice along with the name Condwiramurs are all very suggestive of the cult of courtly love. The troubadours and Grail poets associated courtly love with soul development, which was in opposition the Church and its spiritual monopoly. The study of courtly love and the alchemical symbolism that is encoded in the Grail cycles make up a vast subject of its own that Emma Jung, wife of Carl Jung, and other Jungian scholars have made famous. The story goes that Carl was faithful to his wife only in this one respect, he never talked or wrote about the Grail. That was her labor of love, which she pursued for over 30 years.

So, when we're exploring symbols like the Holy Grail, the three blood drops, and even 666, we have to be careful about assigning meaning. Symbols mean many different things to different people. Furthermore, institutions like the Church and deposed royal bloodlines have their own agendas to promote, so caution and verification is even more important in Grail study.

There appears to be some measure of spiritual wisdom to be harvested from these ideas, but there's a lot of dross and chaff to sift through as well. I have no idea whether these Stuart apologists like Phillip Gardiner, Nicholas de Verve, and Laurence Gardner are right about the Jesus bloodline. Since there is no historical evidence for the existence of the man Jesus, I'm inclined to be skeptical the dynastic claims of the Stuarts or any Grail bloodline. The important thing is that these writers and their "noble" sponsors take them very seriously. The movie and publishing industries take them seriously because of the market these romantic stories provide. Still, because we're devoted to finding the truth about the symbols and myths that make the world go round, these matters demand our attention.

To illustrate how all of these threads weave in and out of each other, in Chretien de Troyes' version of the Grail cycle, Parzival's beloved is called Blanchefleur, or "white flower." The white flower is the white rose. The rose is the symbol par excellence for secret societies and secret knowledge. The Rosicrucians, Rosslyn Chapel, and the phrase sub rosa are all examples of  this fact.

This symbol eventually became the White Rose of York.  In the 30 years from 1455 to 1485,  the Yorks and the Lancasters fought over the crown of England in the War of the Roses. To make a long story short, it was Elizabeth of York who is the link between the royal families of England and Scotland. Her daughter, Margaret Tudor was the great-grandmother of James, who became both James VI of Scotland and James I of England.

When we compare the Grail cycles with "history" it's clear that in either case, we're in the realm of historical myth. In this world, literary characters become composites of real world people, and people in the "real" world model their lives on literature and art. There's a dialogue going on here for those who learn the script.

A clear example of this is the banner of  the Jacobite Rising of 1745. The Jacobites adopted a banner with the White Rose of York as its main symbol. As can be seen, the white rose is on a field of crimson, which evokes the Grail story just summarized.

The ancient rose and the wild rose it descends from has five petals. If one looks closely,  it's evident that the Rose of York is made up of  three pentagonal shapes. This correlates with the English gematria of Jacobite Rising, the historical name of the conflict.

I just found out this important bit of information. Because of Prince William's mother Princess Diana Spencer, when Prince William eventually takes the throne as King William V, it will be the first time since the reign of Queen Anne in 1714, that a descendant of the Stuarts will be King of England.

The Grail legends, their many commentaries and parallel histories over the centuries make for an incredibly complex subject. There are extremely divergent interpretations of what exactly  the Grail is. It's said to be the chalice of the Last Supper, a stone that fell from heaven, a bloodline, a dish of plenty, and more. For the Jungian school, these stories are mostly symbolic allegories of inner psychological processes. The knightly epics of the Grail can surely be read this way, and it's probably the safest way, as well.

One can see with these circumstances, there's a lot of flim-flam that gets written on the Grail because of all the old rusty sickles people like to grind.  I'm going to explore more of this in coming articles, but I hope this helps to introduce the topic. Dealing specifically with the claims made by various writers concerning the genealogy of Jesus Christ and his bloodline will have to be the subject of subsequent articles. Still there is little doubt that these claims are the currency of divine right for the ones who make them and hope to benefit by them.

It's here where I want to turn to gematria for some deeper analysis of what might be encoded in the purpled propaganda. It's time to talk about the Carpenter's key of +MightyMesser. For those of you who are not aware of the Carpenter's Key, it's very special form of gematria and word study.

 I'll put the links at the end of the article, but to define in brief, it works on two principles, "measure twice, cut once" and a four-fold method of calculating across, reversing the values and adding together vertically and horizontally. Because of  its "universal values" and unique method of calculation, the Carpenter's Key reveals connections in symbolism and even dates and years of significance.  In the time we've been using it here it's proven to be a valuable tool for historical and moral understanding.

In this article I'm looking at the number 1776 mainly, but as always there's a supporting cast. What I and others have discovered is that this number comes through so strongly in the theme of Saturn worship and world power that MightyMesser 's Carpenter's Key is more of a vital rediscovery of a very secret form of gematria that must have been used by the Grail cult and the Bavarian Illuminati founded by Adam Weishaupt on May 1, 1776. TiWaZz and +The Infinity Man . Those claims sound incredible, but the results are what have led us to that theory, and not the other way around.

As stated earlier in the article, the purpura murex sea snail was the source of Tyrian purple dye that was the most prized trade item for the Phoenicians. A whole lexicon of symbolism was developed around the worship of color and the claims of the divine right to rule based on blood and heredity. Purpura has the value of 1776 in the Carpenter's Key.

 Yet it also has 111 simple ordinal gematria, as does the term three nails, discussed earlier. It's also noteworthy that the number 111 actually looks like three nails. In Hebrew the word for nail is vau or vav, It's the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, therefore, "three vaus" is actually a hieroglyphic way of expressing 6-6-6.

The soft drink companies and ad agencies that peddle the Monster brand energy drinks show they know exactly what they're doing with this nail symbolism as seen in the picture below on the right. The slogan "Unleash the Beast!" leaves no doubt.

Purpura = 111 EO / 666 Eng. Sum. (English Sumerian is calculated by multiplying the English Ordinal sum by 6. 111 x 6 = 666.

The following two entries show how deep and pervasive the coding is.

Vau Vau Vau in Reverse Ordinal = 111 (5+26+6 + 5+26+6 + 5+26+6 )

When the English transliteration of vau is written out three times, in the reverse ordinal method, (A-26 to Z-1) the sum comes out to 111. Just in case this looks like another coincidence, consider this; the term triple six also has reverse ordinal gematria of 111.

The diagram below shows how the Roman numerals for 1776, MDCCLXXVI are a coded tribute to 666.

When the figures that add to 600, 60 and 6 are separated, as they are in the diagram, the sum is 666.

Another major connection to 1776 connection has to do with the planet Saturn.

Considering that there was no town of Nazareth in Galilee during the 1st century AD, the association of Jesus with the town of Nazareth has more going on than first meets the eye. According to some researchers, the title may refer to Nazarites, a sect often linked to the Dead Sea Scrolls and John the Baptist.

In Greek gematria,  the Greek word for Jesus, Ιησούς, has gematria of 888.

Ιησούς = 888 (10+8+200+70+400+200)

888 + 888 = 1776

Another connection between Jesus and Saturn is the claim made by the 17th century theologian, Leo Allitius. He wrote that the relic known as the Holy Foreskin of Jesus was mystically transported to the heavens to become the rings of Saturn. The reasons for this assertion haven't been determined, from what I've been able to to find out, so far.

Still, there seems to be an effort over the centuries to link the story of Jesus with the planet Saturn. In my opinion, there's little doubt that the longed-for return of the Golden Age of Saturn and the bloodline of Jesus are being intentionally conflated for royalist propaganda purposes. In mythology it was the god Saturn who first ruled over and lived among men.

In the screenshots on the right, we can see that both the royal names of James and Charles add up to 1776 in the Carpenter's Key.
In the introduction, we looked at the famous Byzantine mosaic in Ravenna. We saw how Christ was portrayed as the warrior with his armor, the holy weapons of the cross, the book,  "the way and the light."

His symbol of earthly authority, the purple robe of the Caesars was also evoked in the mosaic. The word warrior also equals 1776, in the Carpenter's Key.  The correspondences continue with Saturn, purpura and the royal names of James and Charles .

But the train they call The Spirit of 1776 has a lot more gematria to hook up before we're done. Here's another sync that TiWaZz found in the Carpenter's Key,  "The Anointed King."

The word ’Messiah’ comes from the Hebrew verb mashiach: ’to anoint’, which derives from the Egyptian messeh: ’the holy crocodile’. It was with the fat of the messeh that the Pharaoh’s sister-brides anointed their husbands on marriage, and the Egyptian custom sprang from kingly practice in old Mesopotamia. In the Old Testament’s Song of Solomon we learn of the bridal anointing of the king. It is detailed that the oil used in Judah was the fragrant ointment of spikenard (an expensive root oil from the Himalayas) and it is explained that this ritual was performed while the kingly husband sat at the table.
The word Christ is from the Greek word that means "anointed." It's where the term chrism comes from. It's a mixture of olive oil and balsam, which is a family of aromatic roots revered for their fragrance and power to energize and heal the body.

It was for this reason that wrestlers and soldiers anointed their bodies with "spiced" oils in ancient times, in hope of victory.

The Caduceus of Hermes is a symbol of power and mastery of secret knowledge. The twin serpents, as well as the crocodile oil that Gardner refers to tell us something important that brings us to today's world. Contrary to popular belief "snake oil" and "crocodile oil" are actually very good for a number of ailments related to inflammation and pain. They have been used for thousands of years in China, Egypt and many other places. The pejorative term "snake oil salesman" comes from the case of Clark Stanley. He was an Old West swindler who claimed to sell snake oil, when he really wasn't. Upon scientific inspection, it was discovered that his concoction had no snake oil, none.

The point of all that was to show that the serpent was and remains a prime focal point of practically all religions because of its healing power.

The Egyptians viewed the crocodile as a serpent just as they and the Phoenicians and Greeks viewed the kermes "worms" as serpents. The kermes "bugs" are actually insects but to the ancients they were serpents. Also, the phoenix being part of the overall narrative tells us that the ancients also recognized a relationship between birds and reptiles, without the conclusions of modern science.

Wolfram was very clear about what he thought of the Grail. It was the stone that the Archangel Michael struck from the crown of Lucifer in the Battle of the Heavens. After God cast Lucifer into Hell, He commanded the neutral angels to bring the Grail stone to Earth.

Here's something else Wolfram tells us about the stone in Parzival. It's a stone of healing, regeneration and plenty.
“They live from a stone whose essence is pure... It is called lapis exilis. By virtue of this stone the Phoenix is burned to ashes, in which she is reborn... However ill a mortal man may be, from the day on which he sees the Stone, he cannot die for that week, nor does he lose his color." 
 The Phoenix's deep red to purple tones have another connection to be considered. The date palms of the Levant, which the Phoenicians first helped to spread across the rest of the Mediterranean and southern Asia are known as the Phoenix trees. In Greek the name for the date palm is  φοῖνιξ (phoinix) or φοίνικος (phoinikos).

The Sunday before Easter is known as Palm Sunday in the Christian world. It's  commemorates Jesus' entry into Jerusalem riding an ass and a colt through the city when the throng shouted "Hosanna to the Son of David!"

It was the Book of Zachariah that proclaimed how all this would happen. So, for Jesus to fulfill the prophecy, he had to ride both the ass and the colt of an ass. As stated before, we're in the realm of historical myth, where the past, the present and prophecy work off each other.

"9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass."
 So it is on Palm Sunday, when the faithful reenact the Passion of Christ. If one traces back the archaic origins of what we're calling the Rite of the Phoenix, it goes back the very beginning of civilization in Sumer around 4000 BC and probably much earlier into Neolithic times. It was part the spring festival in honor of the Earth-Goddess Innana and her consort, Tammuz.

When Jesus is greeted as the King of Israel in the Gospels, that's also a reenactment of the sacred marriage ceremony of the ancient Near East. In this rite, kings of Mesopotamia, Syria and Canaan, and probably even the land of Israel and Judah at some points of its history, were accorded the privilege and duty of sexual congress with the head temple harlot designated as Inanna. In the New Testament, all matriarchal vestiges are edited out. The goddess figure of Inanna becomes "the daughter of Zion."

 In the pagan version, the King brings gifts to the goddess and pays homage to her. In the New Testament, it's the woman Mary Magdalene who anoints Jesus with oil. Jesus washes the feet the

The ceremony of Ash Wednesday continues the Rite of the Phoenix because the palm fronds used on Palm Sunday are burnt, just as the phoenix burns up in her own flame, from shining so brightly. In remembrance, the ashes of the phoenix palm trees are used on Ash Wednesday to make the sign of the cross on the foreheads of the faithful.

The ashes of the phoenix palm symbolize the death of winter that was really only a little sleep. Ash Wednesday is the first day of the season known as Lent that leads up to Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. The Fifth Sunday of Lent has traditionally been known as Passion Sunday. It's also called Judica Sunday, taken from the Latin translation of Psalm 42, "Judica me, Deus," or "Judge me, O God!"

As you can see in the screenshots above on the left, both the words passion and judica equal 1776 in the Carpenter's Key. In the picture on the right, there's the purple veil that is used to cover the crucifix on Passion Sunday.

There's powerful subconscious symbolism that's being transmitted with color and sacred stories in the Christian adaptation of the Rite of the Phoenix.

However, in the Sumerian hymns to Inanna, which have survived we see the real essence of the drama.

 At the heart of the narrative, the place of honor and the raising of spirit is focused on the Goddess. She is the fruitful source of life, the Earth and sky, Nature herself.

The Carpenter's Key Database

Thanks to Sue G for her work on this great resource based on the Carpenter Key of +MightyMesser.
The Google sheet she created has an easy to follow format that lays out the largest number of the Key  four way cross-sums  for each number, side by side. This makes comparison of symbolic themes and numbers a more natural process.

Sue has already discovered and catalogued hundreds of relevant CK gematria syncs with the calculator linked below, just under the Carpenter Key Database. The way I have it set for now is that anyone can leave comments on the spreadsheet.
